"What size tables do you have, and what size linens should I order?"
Whether you're planning to bring in custom-colored linens, textured fabrics, sequins, velvet, specialty prints, or personalized designs, knowing your table sizes before ordering can save you both time and money.
I also find that many couples are trying to determine how many guests fit at each table before they finalize their floor plan. Since these questions come up so often, I created this guide to help our couples understand exactly what tables we use, how many guests fit at each table, and what linen sizes create that beautiful floor-length look most couples want for their wedding day.

72-Inch Round Tables
Our 72-inch round tables are our most commonly used guest tables and work beautifully for most wedding receptions.
Seating Capacity: 10 Guests
Seating 10 guests at a 72-inch round table is comfortable and works well for most wedding receptions. Depending on your event style and table décor, you can also seat 8 guests for a more spacious feel or accommodate up to 12 guests when maximizing seating capacity is a priority.
Many of our Houston-area couples choose the arrangement that best fits their guest count, floor plan, and overall reception vision.
60-Inch Round Tables
Our 60-inch round tables are perfect for smaller receptions, sweetheart family groupings, or couples who prefer a more intimate seating arrangement.
Comfortable Seating Capacity: 6 Guests
Maximum Seating Capacity: 8 Guests
If you're planning elaborate centerpieces or charger plates, we recommend staying closer to 6 guests per table for maximum comfort.
6-Foot Rectangle Tables
Our rectangle banquet tables measure 72 inches long by 30 inches wide.
These tables are commonly used for:
- Head tables
- Family tables
- Sweetheart table displays
- Catering stations
For guest seating, we recommend:
Comfortable Seating Capacity: 8 Guests
- 3 guests on each side
- 1 guest at each end
This arrangement allows guests plenty of elbow room while creating a balanced and attractive table design.

This size provides a full floor-length appearance and creates a clean, sophisticated look.
6-Foot Rectangle Tables
Table Size: 72" x 30"
Recommended Linen Size: 90" x 132" Rectangular Linen
This provides a floor-length drop on all sides and creates a polished presentation for head tables, sweetheart tables, and family seating.
32-Inch Cocktail Tables
Table Size: 32" Round Bar Height
Recommended Linen Size: 132" Round Linen
Because cocktail tables are taller than guest tables, they require larger linens to achieve a floor-length appearance.
